The 16th edition of the International Winery and Bottling, Machinery and Equipment Show will take place from 13 - 16 February 2007, in Zaragoza, Spain. Enomaq returns to renew its position as one of the benchmark shows for the sector in Europe. In addition the Vine-Growing Techniques and Equipment Show, confirms its consolidated position in the sector after just four exhibitions.
The facilities of the Zaragoza Exhibition Centre will become a meeting place for leading-edge international firms in the vine-growing and wine-growing market. The exhibition space is 15 000 m2 bigger than the previous show in 2004 (fig 1). In 2004 Enomaq was supported by 661 exhibiting firms (of which 316 were foreign companies) and 17 855 professional visitors. In 2007 more than 750 companies are expected to participate and 35 000 m2 of exhibition space is available.

Enomaq and Tecnovid have a notable percentage of representatives from Italy, France, Germany and Portugal, but are also frequent to find exhibitors from the USA.
The international event will be a show-case for all the latest innovations in machinery and technologies applied to the wine - and beverages industry, and the techniques and equipment for viticulture.
The Enomaq and Tecnovid shows have become fundamental business tools to further internationalisation and improve competition, innovation and quality. Both shows are structured around the following sectors:
Enomaq
- Machinery for bottling and auxiliary equipment.
- Tanks and other containers.
- Machinery for treating wine.
- Enological products and laboratory material.
- Packaging, projects and auxiliary industries to winegrowing.
- Grape processing machinery.
Tecnovid
- Tractors, tilling and preparation of land.
- Planting, fertilizing and irrigation of vineyards.
- Pruning and protection of vineyards.
- Posts and wires for trellis systems.
- Harvesting.
- Transport and handling of grapes.
- Nurseries.
- Agro-chemical products.
- Institutions, associations and services.
With highly satisfactory growth rates over the past four exhibitions, Tecnovid is now a consolidated show that has kept the interest of the wine-growing sector alive with each new show/exhibition. In 2004 Tecnovid brought together 187 exhibitors, 78 of which were foreign companies from 19 countries. Tecnovid will have a surface area of 20 000 m2 (fig 2) and almost 200 firms will be participating in February 2007.
Two new shows: Oleomaq and Oleotec
Two new exhibitions, Oleomaq and Oleotec have arisen within the framework of Enomaq and Tecnovid 2007. These events are devoted to quality olive oil, the making and the equipment and machinery used in processing. Both events are benchmarkers in the field and the ideal showcase for all the latest in olive-growing technology and machinery.
The two sectors, wine and oil, are at the present time the most burgeoning ones in the agro-food sector and have a considerable weight within the economy. This is an unique initiative in which the two shows provide a reciprocal feedback. The benefits are twofold: international exposure for exhibiting firms and exposure for visitors to two sectors that although they are different, have great similarities.
Oleomaq and Oleotec represent a novel product amid the vast offer of shows, as well as highlighting a new phenomenon: the co-existence of oil mills with wine cellars. The high participation of companies both in Enomaq and Tecnovid and the power of attraction of these shows for professional visitors are a good indication of the success of this trade event. It is a strategic venue for the vine-growing and wine-growing sector and the oil sector, also devoting a section to beverages in general.
